Location Based Entertainment management and design
I am a rising senior at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, pursuing a BFA in Drama with an area of concentration in Scenic Design. I am receiving further education through classes provided by Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center. Additionally, I pursued a four month apprenticeship at Sleep No More NYC and The McKittrick Hotel in the Scenery and Props department. I am currently pursing an internship with Universal Creative as the Show/Set/Scenic/Rockwork Intern for Super Nintendo World, Epic Universe!
My passion is location based entertainment, with a specific focus on theme parks. I have a love for creating immersive environments, as I am fascinated most by the opportunity to develop a world, both through the physical environment and visual narrative. Engaging with art in a way that allows escapism has been integral to my emotional survival as a human. As an artist, I believe in social responsibility and am dedicated to returning the feelings of wonder and joy I experienced through theme parks by pursuing a career in the industry.
